Genevieve Maisonette is Cara's daughter. It was thought that she was Bode Leone's daughter until it was revealed in Alert the Sheriff that she wasn't his daughter.

Biography[]

Learning the truth[]

Genevieve grew up most of her life believing that Cara was her sister until she learned the truth, that Cara is in fact her mother. However, she has yet to learn that Bode is possibly her father. Since then, she has become distant to Cara, though she has grown close to Jake, to the point of calling him Uncle Jake.[1][2]

In season two finale it is implied that Genevieve is actually the daughter of a man named Rick who had a brief fling with her mother. This was revealed to Jake when he encountered Rick at the same ice cream parlor that they were at.

Meeting her father[]

Genevieve and Jake got caught in the destruction at the parlor, resulting in them being separated and her suffering a dislocated shoulder. Jake assured her that he will be there for her and to remain calm and she weighed it on the other side of the debris, while there she spoke with Rick who unknown to her was her possible biological father.

Rick later approached Jake and told him he understands his reservations but reveals that he is a good father to his sons that he has with his wife. Rick later implored Jake to make time for a paternity test or he will tell Genevieve himself.

Jake later revealed to Eve and Bode that the paternity test was conducted and Rick was proven to be her biological father. After she learn the truth Genevieve was infuriated with Jake for not telling her sooner and locked herself in her room.
